Syntech Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products. As we strive for excellence in our operations, we are seeking two reliable, dependable, and self-starting General Operatives to join the team. This project focuses on organising, cleaning, and maintaining equipment and machinery within our factory premises to enhance efficiency and productivity. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the factory environment is organised & clean.
Job Overview: The General Operatives will be responsible for organising, cleaning, and counting equipment and machinery within our factory premises. These individuals will work with minimal supervision to ensure that the factory looks and feels organised and presentable. This project is high-profile, and as such, attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness are essential. While forklift licenses or skills are not required, reliability, self-management, and an eye for detail are paramount.
Responsibilities:

1. Organise and arrange equipment and machinery within the factory premises according to specified guidelines and standards.
2. Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and factory areas to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
3. Count and inventory equipment and machinery, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
4. Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure efficient completion of assigned duties.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel for timely resolution.
7. Participate in training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
8. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
9. Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation through exemplary work ethic and conduct.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

8. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
