Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a General Operative you will be working alongside Exeter city Council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

A General Operative with our Exeter branch. You will be out supporting residents with planned repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties, working from job' to job', on your planned route fitting kitchens and bathrooms. Part of a local team undertaking high standard General repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

Role Criteria:

• Experience of working within Building Construction and Maintenance Industry.
• The ability to demonstrate knowledge of skills, technology, and safety procedures for ongoing tasks.
• The ability to understand and interpret work instructions.
• Basic Skills in Carpentry and Plumbing.
• Good Customer Service Skills.
• Mould wash.
