Your role
We are currently recruiting for General Operative's (Fumigator) x2 based at Clonmore Store.
The employee is a member of a team of GENERAL OPERATIVEs, reporting to the management team. Effective liaison, team working and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff is essential. The job is performed out on farms and involves carrying out a physically active role. The use of chemicals requires health and safety. Time will be spent travelling from farm to farm in a shared vehicle.
The hours of work are Monday- Thursday 8am- 4:30pm and Friday 8am- 3:30pm.
The rate of pay is £12.96 per hour.
What you’ll need
- Must be literate and numerate.
- Must be able to think clearly.
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Must have a positive attitude to work and others
- Good manual dexterity is essential.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- The ability to work on own initiative and learn new skills is desirable.
- Previous hatchery and/or production and/or livestock and/or cleaning experience is essential.
- Evidence of mechanical aptitude is desirable
- Driving licence is essential.
- PA1 and PA9 fumigation training is desirable.
