DCS Recruitment are currently recruiting Buildings Maintenance Operatives with Joinery experience to join a long term project in Slough.
Summary
To ensure that any customer care maintenance work is completed and any defects from projects are completed by sub-contractors within contractors guidelines in accordance with company procedures and core values.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the coordination and resolution of aftercare building issues
- Following work items lists and ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard
- Liaising with sub-contractors and trades to ensure they attend and resolves defects in a timely manner
- Ensuring that work is carried out safely and in line with the Company's health and safety processes and procedure, as well as HSE requirements
- Completion of associated paperwork
Key Skills
- Excellent customer service skills, a pragmatic approach and the ability to prioritise workload
- Must be multi skilled with regard to the various trades required - Joinery experience is essential
- Attention to detail
- Must be enthusiastic, hard-working and possess a positive can-do attitude
- Self-motivated
- A keen interest in being client-facing
- Full UK driving license
- Basic IT skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Hours
Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required in the event that any work needs to be completed outside of normal working hours / at weekends. Overtime will apply.
