Our Client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join their dedicated imaging team, working across general and mammography functions.

We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week.

Duties and responsibilities

• To perform a comprehensive range of radiographic procedures, including Plain Film, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Radiography.
• Participate in rostered departmental on call for General X-ray.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
• Ensure that hospital radiology procedures are implemented and maintained

We're looking for

• You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC
• Minimum 2 years Radiography experience
• Minimum 1 year Mammography experience with Mammography Certificate is essential
• You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
• Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
