We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant (SEN) who wants to work as part of a highly skilled team.
Brougham Street Community Nursery School has a history of including and supporting children with SEND and have an innovative and exciting curriculum that leaves nobody out.
The successful applicant will need:
- To be fascinated in child development and committed to the right of every child to succeed
- An ability to work as part of a team and with outside agencies e.g. speech & language therapy / portage / Advisory Teachers Dedicated to making a difference to children’s lives and be prepared to advocate for them, even when it can be uncomfortable
- An awareness of and commitment to the council’s Equal Opportunities Policy
- Enthusiasm and a sense of humour – To not mind going home at the end of the day looking slightly different to when you arrived!
