Position: General Manager

Location: Harrow

About the Company:

Our client is currently on the lookout for an exceptional General Manager to join their vibrant team. They are dedicated to creating a lively atmosphere while performing excellent levels of customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Venue Oversight: The role involves overseeing and managing the venue to maximize potential for each revenue stream.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless end-to-end operation of the sites, complying with safety legislation and standards.
  • Financial Management: Take charge of creating forecasts, budgets, and overseeing financial control to drive revenue and ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Building: Cultivate a strong team culture of fun, teamwork, and success within the venue.
  • Human Resources: Oversee HR and recruitment processes.
  • Food and Beverage Excellence: Ensure the delivery of exceptional food and beverage experiences in line with the latest trends.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Oversee the creation and delivery of engaging marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Experience: Play a key role in driving and overseeing an excellent customer experience.
  • Relationships: This pivotal role reports to the Directors and aligns with the Core Values of the company. Building strong communication and maintaining relationships with all managers and team members is crucial.

Experience & Skills:

  • Customer-focused and target-driven individual with an outgoing and positive personality.
  • A self-starter, willing to get hands-on and self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
  • Experience using a sales booking system.
  • 10+ years of strong experience in a Food and beverage environment.
  • Understanding of the Hospitality industry, preferably in an activity-based setting.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and administration skills.
  • Experience in reporting, analysing, and tracking data.
  • Strong time management and commitment to getting the job done.
