Job Advertisement: Geography Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Wakefield

Start Date: Easter

I am seeking a dynamic and passionate Geography Teacher to join my partner secondary school based in the Wakefield area. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will commence their role from Easter onwards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic achievement.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work to support their progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the geography curriculum.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialisation in Geography or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for inspiring students and promoting a love for geography.

Start Date: The successful candidate will start from Easter

Salary: The salary for this position ranges from 150 to 210 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
