Reed Education are currently working in partnership with a large Multi Academy Trust in Liverpool to appoint a Geography Teacher commencing in January on a Permanent basis.

We are looking for a creative and dedicated Geography teacher to join our successful humanities department at a Liverpool Secondary School. You will be teaching Geography to students from KS3 to KS5, following the national curriculum and preparing them for exams. You will also be involved in developing the curriculum, resources, and enrichment activities for the subject.
As a Geography Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of all students.
- Assess, record and report on the progress and attainment of students and provide feedback and guidance.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to stimulate learning and foster curiosity.
- Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour and attitudes.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share best practices and enhance the learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s vision and values.
To be a successful Geography teacher, you will need:
- A degree in Geography or a related subject
- A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience of teaching Geography at secondary level
- Knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- A passion for geography and education
