Position Overview:
As a Temporary Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will inspire a love for learning, foster critical thinking, and create an engaging classroom environment. This is a temporary, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic success of their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective and engaging Geography lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Geography department and the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Geography at KS3, 4 and 5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
