This business was established in 2007 and had successful grown to be one of the best products in their space. They work at is professional vets and nutritionists to make sure their products are the best for their pets.
The Role:
I’m looking for a talented German Copywriter/Translator to translate copy from the English market across to Germany, covering the website, blogs, Paid Social, SEO and more.
Over time, the role will be something to make your own as they grow into new locations. There’s the opportunity for development through creative writing. You must be able to research, process and write engaging scientific copy. You will report to the Lead Copywriter and will work and collaborate with other teams across the business.
The German Copywriter/Translator will:
- Translating and delivering high-quality English to German copy
- Adapting long-term strategic brand tone and vision to local markets, keeping in mind cultural differences and perceptions
- Contributing-to data-led strategic content projects
- Contributing to live updates in German, in the tone of voice, with messaging that aligns to wider company goals.
- Supporting our Customer Service Team when needed, to respond to German customer enquiries.
Required skills and experience:
- A native German speaker
- Fluency in English
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting/translations
- Strong writing, editorial, and proofing skills
- Experience translating content in a similar field.
- Experience writing creative and engaging content.
- An understanding of how to work to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging.
- Team player abilities with experience on how to collaborate across functions.
- A data-driven approach and awareness of the importance of appropriately quantifying your work.
