Responsible for:
Main purpose of post
To work within the despatch team to send and load all jobs accurately and correctly, working mainly with the glass area. Ensure accurate picking, locating, and loading of glass units. Report any faults in a timely fashion so remake units can be supplied before installation. Scan in all units to a location so we have full visibility with the business for installation planning.
Duties
· Assist with loading/unloading of finished items onto the Company vehicle.
· Offload and scan all glass deliveries into department ensuring accuracy checking units that arrive.
· Report any faulty units from supplier and from internal to purchasing team within a timely manner to complete and send out full jobs.
· Pick and load all glass units for jobs ensuring quality of units and that all units are ready for installation.
· To promote good customer service always when representing the Company.
· Undertaking of tasks to ensure maximum health and safety.
· To assist the despatch manager in all matters relating to the despatch department.
· Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required in order to fulfil the aims and objectives of Kingfisher Windows.
Person Specification
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good organisation skills
· Ability to prioritise.
· Attention to detail when producing paperwork and ability to work within set procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
