The Opportunity:

As a Global Business Insights, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an accurate view of the Global market conditions for the assigned products and Therapeutic Areas, providing primary and secondary market research, forecasting and competitive intelligence. This position is also responsible for maintaining an accurate picture of assigned product performance along with the risks and opportunities.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Lead the identification of information needs, development of market research/data analysis plan, execution of the research process, and communication of actionable insights within assigned products.
  • Coordinate across Commercial Division Insights and Strategy teams, Data Strategy, Advanced, Analytics & Reporting and Commercial Forecasting functions to ensure integrated and consistent communication of insights and implications, tied back to brand strategies and objectives.
  • Develop deep understanding of the market landscape which includes market potential, market trends, unmet medical and patient needs, market access challenges and competitors’ trend for each of the assigned products.
  • Work together with finance to provide forecasting and budgeting expertise to the Brand Global Marketing team. Reconcile financial assumptions to ensure consistency of forecasts across regions and understand the rationale for differences where appropriate.
  • Provide overall Product market intelligence guidance to the Brand Global Marketing team.
  • Communicate key business findings and insights to the relevant cross functional stakeholders.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Extensive experience the pharmaceutical or other related healthcare field in the area of market research, competitive intelligence, analysis or strategic consulting.
  • Proven track record in in identifying, evaluating, and translating primary and secondary data sources and analysis to provide unbiased, objective, in-depth understanding of the market, product performance, customers, and competitors and support global franchise strategy.
  • Evidenced success in in project management: managing multiple projects simultaneously, management of complex projects, and providing strong oversight on direct reports’ projects.
  • deep understanding of business strategy, products, customers and the industry.
  • Demonstrate leadership in building relationships with colleagues across multiple functions, including globally.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • MBA qualification is Preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Location: UK (Addlestone).
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per month in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
