Global Head of Lean sought within a highly successful international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and Electronic industries.
 
As the Global Head of Lean, you will develop and implement a comprehensive global lean manufacturing strategy that aligns with the company's goals. Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of Lean manufacturing professionals will be a primary focus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities, driving continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
 
The Global Head of Lean will be expected to be able to implement and standardise best practices and lean methodologies across all manufacturing sites as this will be essential. You will conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to lean principles and identify areas for improvement. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization is a key objective. Additionally, you will provide training and development programs to build lean capabilities across the company, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lean manufacturing initiatives, and stay updated with industry trends to ensure our company remains at the forefront of Lean manufacturing.
 
The Global Head of Lean:
 
*Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or time served experience  
*Experiencing Leading and coaching teams
*Extensive Lean experience
*Full comprehension of ISO9000, TS16949, ISO14001, ISO 45000 standards
*Experience of KPI implementation and management
*Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite. SAP, MES & PLM
*Able to travel between sites Foreign and domestic
 
The Person:
*Related qualifications or time served in industry
*Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies practices
*Extensive IT skills
*Manufacturing background
