Job Description
In this role, you will own the Vendor Management COE for Vernova's People Operations team. You will lead a central team of global vendor management specialists who are responsible to manage and govern relationship with various vendors who delivers services in People Operations workstreams. Your specific role would focus on wide range of vendor management, KPIs, SLA management, reporting, risk & issue management. You will work closely with sourcing, regional delivery teams and vendors daily.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with payroll, benefit, and other People Ops services vendors, acting as the main point of contact for all vendor-related matters.
  • Provide oversight to strategic HR Operations suppliers. Ensure Business Process Outsourcing compliance with SLAs and act as the primary point of contact for customer escalation support and resolution.
  • Lead and drive daily/weekly operations huddles including timeliness and quality metrics accountability.
  • M anage inventory of vendors (criticality/risk, contract expiration, contract renewals)
  • P rovide standard terms and conditions for contracts
  • D ocument best practices and minimum standards for managing vendors (Routines, incident management, etc.)
  • C reate standard risk assessment and classification to drive management requirements
  • Facilitate required routines with 3 rd parties and service delivery teams to oversee performance, respond to issues and drive increased business value
  • Manage delivery of performance feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.
  • Monitoring vendors to ensure compliance with company policies, attending company meetings, and informing new vendors of their responsibilities.
  • Monitorperformance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance and drive improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with theSourcingandLegalto negotiate and manage vendor contracts. Ensure that contracts are properly drafted, reviewed, and executed.
  • Monitor vendors' compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of vendors, conducting due diligence to assess their capabilities, financial stability, and reputation. Make recommendations for vendor selection based on objective criteria.
  • Develop and implement a vendor governance framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, to govern vendor relationships and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Proactively identify and address issues, conflicts, and escalations with vendors. Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving between internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align vendor strategies with the organization's business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships, drive cost savings, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, finance, IT, and business units, to ensure effective vendor management and alignment with organizational requirements.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in the field of HR, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Significant work experience (post education) in the fields of services, technology, HR
  • Strong communication skills in the form of written, verbal, and formal presentation. Candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate with, and influence staff made up of many disciplines at all management levels.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities and manage variety of tasks at any one time

If contracted in the United States:
The salary range for this position is 135 600,00 - 180 800,00 - 226 000,00 USD USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
