Salary: AM1 £66,444 per annum to £73,401 per annum by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Are you a seasoned professional seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact on an international stage? We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Global Mobility Manager to lead strategic initiatives as we take the University of Hertfordshire into its next phase of global talent acquisition.
Main duties and responsibilities
You will provide sound leadership for the University’s international assignments and Global Mobility programmes, including the management of third-party Employers of Record. You will serve as the subject matter expert on Global Mobility matters, providing invaluable guidance to HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders. You will develop policies, provide expertise and strategic guidance, monitoring and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Fostering positive relationships with internal managers and staff you will ensure effective collaboration to support the relocation, immigration, and assignment processes, minimising business risk while optimising cost-effectiveness and enhancing employee experience.
Skills and experience required
Experience of working in a Global Mobility/International HR related role in a multi-functional organisation providing advice and support on a wide range of HR issues is essential, as is knowledge and understanding of international employment practices and experience of leading change management projects for service improvement. Your ability to gain the confidence of senior stakeholders by influencing, mediating and resolving complex situations will be important as you act as a role model and team player to deliver a proactive, efficient and effective service in a progressive and forward-thinking environment.
We are looking for someone with professional credibility who demonstrates a high degree of emotional intelligence, personal resilience and customer focus who can get to the heart of complex issues quickly, applying their own expertise effectively, and collaborating when appropriate.
Qualifications required
You will hold a minimum of a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area such as Employment Law, Human Resource Management, or significant proven professional work experience in relevant field.
