Description

  • Clear and agreed Roadmap for HAZOP's with clarity on choices.
  • Structure and plan to deliver simple standards for Process safety; functional, process and management in line with the overall plan
  • Lead the expertise platform (Process Safety operation managers and Technical Authorities) addressing structural issues and track audit gap closure to deliver results at the front line
  • Build outstanding capability in house to Service the business in the different technologies and geographies based on heat map, including talent pipeline
  • Ensure top construction projects are delivered OTIF without Process Safety incidents and future proof
  • Improve audit program in line with overall per business ask, consolidate, simplify, more effective and cost efficient
  • Owner of Management of Change process for SHE, including standard, tool and training - ensuring fit for purpose functionality and capability across
  • Ensure visibility and buy in of all key stakeholders on strategy and plan

Profile

A successful Global Process Safety Manager should have:

  • MSc in Chemical Engineering
  • Process Safety Operational experience
  • Background in Chemicals, FMCG or Oil & Gas
  • Operational experience in: HAZOPs, PSSR, MOC, QRA, Process Safety Audits, Bow tie, Asset Health, 20 Process Safety Elements
  • Data driven, self-starter, excellent communication skills, ability to work agile and iterative
  • Collaborative work ethic, growth mindset, challenging status quo, talent catalyst, leading virtual teams
  • Proven track record of project delivery, fully operational in delivering time driven action plans and closing gaps OTIF
  • Like to have a six sigma, preferably black belt (nice to have)
