Global Process Specialist - SAP MII / SAP PP (Production Planning)

Rate- £600 - £650 a day Outside IR35

Duration- 6 months initial

Location- Reading - on site 2/3 times a month

Interview - 2 Stage interview

We have joined up with a leading building materials company as they look for a Global Process specialist with experience with SAP MII and a background in the manufacturing industry on a contract basis.

They are currently undergoing a SAP S/4Hanna deployment and need assistance with scheduling and execution. The skill set that they're urgently looking for is SAP MII (this is heavily customised, with a Solution Architect on the project managing this). The reason being is that the current understanding of SAP MII and SAP S/4Hanna is low and they want someone who understands SAP MII and SAP S/4Hanna to assist with the deployment, you will act as the glue bringing the team together with your technical knowledge and ability to converse effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise for this project and the gravitas and people skills to converse with stakeholders closing the gap between SME's and the customer. The role will include, organising and running chat rooms/ forums choosing the focus of meetings, bring the team together. Closing the gap between SAP MII SME's and the customer on matters such as Process flows and GSOCS.

Experience and Skills

• Process Specialist or similar roles.
• SAP MII
• SAP S/4Hanna
• Setting up chat rooms/ forums
• Agile way of working (Scrum/ Kanban)

• Background in Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Community of Practice with function super users.
• Anchor processes in live markets.
• Support on initiatives to simplify/standardise/enhance the global template.
• Support on knowledge transfer, documentation and policies.
• Support on testing with new enhancements.
