Pall Medical Modular Solutions and Ophthalmic Product Manager (d/f/m)
What you’ll do:
- Actively manage all commercial aspects of the designated Ophthalmic portfolio and Pall Medical Modular Solutions Initiative including pricing, promotion and service levels. Maintaining effective communication and interaction with the customers and internally with Commercial, R&D, Operations and other key functional groups within the company.
- Analyse competitive landscape including product offerings, performance claims, overall market positioning and selling strategies to develop and maintain action plans, drive product portfolio growth and gain market share.
- Identify new business opportunities for new and existing products and develop selling tools to help commercial representatives in targeting the right customers and applications as well as responding to customer needs and overcoming objections and competitive threats.
- Establish scope for New Product Development activities using rigorous Voice of Customer, prioritization and growth tools and proactively identify, manage and plan for product introduction risks and mitigations.
- Lead the development as a customer champion to identify customer pain-points, user needs and ensure our products solve valuable problems in attractive segments.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree educated or equivalent in business/ life sciences or engineering with 5 or more years or related marketing/engineering work experience in medical device or membrane technologies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with people from various functional disciplines including: sales, marketing, R&D, engineering, manufacturing, legal, DBS and planning.
- Must have the ability to actively manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Ability to translate market, customer and application requirements into clear and concrete product design characteristics as well as marketing, sales and pricing strategies.
- Good knowledge of global healthcare market and medical device regulatory requirements.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Mentoring and training commercial associates, customers and other supporting functions.
