AddressRegulatory Specialist
As a valued member of our Sensient global Regulatory team, in this role as a Regulatory Specialist, you will support internal and external customers (including Customer Service, Sales, Research & Development, Quality Assurance) by serving as subject matter expert in assigned areas by interpreting regulations, providing information to address external customer needs, providing guidance in the development of products to internal customers by accurately maintaining product information databases.
What you will do:
- Maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of the principles set forth in the food regulations for assigned core technologies, ingredient categories and associated regulatory agencies.
- Actively cross-train with others to relieve high volume issues and maintain a balance of workload within the department.
- Communicate information to appropriate personnel. Actively listen and share information and knowledge with others in an effective and a timely manner whilst ensuring that appropriate information is communicated, received and understood.
- Demonstrate the technical/functional skills required to fulfill the needs of the role and continually develop expertise. You will actively and continuously engage in personal development aimed at improving your current skills and developing additional skills in order to effectively apply expertise internally and externally.
- Travel on a non-routine basis.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in food science, chemistry or related field or equivalent qualification
- 2-3 years’ experience in regulatory affairs within the food industry
- Strong communication skills in English and one other Western-European language, to be able to actively listen and share information and knowledge with others in an effective and a timely manner.
