Job Summary:

SLB are seeking an enthusiastic chemist looking to broaden their knowledge in oilfield production chemistry specialising in scale control and mitigation. The chemist will be responsible for conducting a variety of scale tests on projects that serve our customers across the globe. This role is primarily lab based and we will be looking for someone motivated to work in a lab environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Conducting laboratory testing for the qualification of scale inhibitors and scale dissolvers.

· Assist with product formulation and development.

· Assisting with product preparation and shipment.

· Technical report writing

· Maintenance of lab equipment including calibration and organisation of external servicing.

· Maintaining test procedures, COSHH and relevant risk assessments.

· Implement and follow company safety practices.

Qualifications:

· Preferred BSc in chemistry or science related field.

· Experience working in a laboratory.

· Excellent written and oral communication

· Great teamwork skills.
