A key member of the leadership team, the Global Supply Chain Manager (GSCM) will be responsible and accountable for deployment of strategy that delivers Cleanova’s mission through the leveraging of the Global Supply Chain.

1. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the company.
• Leading a global team of 8-12 comprised of sourcing, buying, planning and logistics.
• Responsible for coordinating all aspects of material flow and part delivery within the organisation.
• Creating and delivering a strategic Supply Chain complete with product appropriate procurement strategies.
• Develop and manage the Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) process for all aftermarket operations.
• Create, maintain and execute material logistic strategies to manage inventory and control excess and obsolete materials.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Inventory and Purchasing modules of the organisation’s business system.
• Foster, develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with suppliers, customers, the leadership team, and employees.
• Responsible for contract management in relation to all materials
• Developing and maintaining strategic supplier long term framework agreements to promote collaboration and value in the Supply Chain.
• Review routinely practices to assure that staff are procuring and utilising appropriate contracts and tiers
• Ensure optimal focus to maximise price savings, rebates and commitments
• Ensure employee safety is a primary concern in the selection of goods and services
• Develop most suitable purchasing arrangement for commodities, including blanket contracts, standing orders and vendor stocking arrangements
• Lead the standardisation of supplies and equipment within the organisation
• Lead the resolution of equipment and supply quality and service problems with vendors.
• Give consideration to environmental concerns in the selection of supplies and equipment .
• Coordinate the reconciliation process for invoices with the Accounts Payable department when price and quantities do not agree with the purchase order.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual departmental operating and capital budgets; operates each function within the approved budget
• Coach, lead, and develop team leads and members to ensure organisational goals and objectives are met.
• Establishing and maintaining best practice and processes in accordance with ISO9001.

• Knowledge of Material Management System.

• Identify tools, processes, and metrics to optimise supplier value.

• Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving ability and leverage metrics and other tools to drive supplier performance.
• Financial skills including cost modelling, cost analysis, make vs. buy analysis.

4.0 Key Performance Indicators

• Reduce current Supply Chain supplier base by 80%.
• Supplier OTD - 98.5%.
• Savings Year On Year of 10% on all spend categories.
• Long Term Agreements for all strategic suppliers by end FY24.
• Inventory to be ca. 10-15% of total revenue for the business.
• Dual sourcing for all critical goods and services.
• Localised Supply Chain for established Premier Customers as required.

1. Education and Experience

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, business, management or other related discipline. Masters in related field would be desirable as would formal engineering background
• Depth of knowledge and experience in Strategic, Operational and Tactical Global Procurement and Supply Chain Mgt Principles and Fundamentals.
• Strong Contract law experience, Project Management skills, Macro Economic awareness and accomplished business acumen
• Strong background in the management of materials and sourcing within a design and manufacturing environment.
• Experience in total quality, lean, six sigma, or other similar environments.
• Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment – SAP is an advantage.
