Golang Developer

Impactive IT are currently representing a fantastic client based in Sussex who are on the lookout for x5 Golang Developers. This will be a 6-month contract with a possible option to extend, dependant on success. You must live in the UK and hold a valid working visa. As a Golang Developer, some of the responsibilities include: Develop secure and scalable backend services for a mobile banking application. Design and implement enterprise-class microservices to meet the needs of our security infrastructure. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend services through rigorous testing and optimization. Document technical specifications, architecture, and implementation details for future reference and knowledge sharing. Consult on wider architectural or development paradigms such as security, API architecture and SDLC. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate backend services with existing systems. Proficiency in in building Go / Golang microservices at enterprise level Strong background in developing applications with Java and related technologies. Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud-based architectures and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Desirable Experience with JCE frameworks for implementing cryptographic algorithms and ensuring data security. Experience with application security, particularly in mobile app security.
