We are looking for a Golf Operations Manager for a fantastic Premium private members Golf club near Hitchin in North Hertfordshire. Supporting the General Manager, the post holder will have:

• Overarching responsibility for Golf Operations, ensuring standards are high and members have an enjoyable experience.
• Lead a team of course marshals, Pro Shop assistants and Golf Operations assistants.
• Plan and coordinate the golf programme including competitions in conjunction with the golf committee.
• Manage Golf Pro Shop and Toptracer driving range.
• Maximise ancillary revenue lines such as golf buggy/trolley hire and golf retail.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Course Manager and Food & beverage, Events and Membership departments to ensure the smooth running of the overall club.

Person we are looking for:

• Professional, personable disposition with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Hands-on approach to leadership, always willing to support departments and interact with members.
• Experience working in a quality golf club environment in a similar leadership role.
• Have your own transport and live within commuting distance of Hitchin, North Hertfordshire.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts including some evenings and weekends.
