Golf Services Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Golf Services Assistant to join our team at Dundonald Links in Irvine, Ayrshire. Rates of pay to be discussed upon application.

This is a seasonal position to work part time hours. This will be across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

This role will run from March 2024 until October 2024.

Typical shift times may be 7am - 3:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm, these times may change during busy peak periods and flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Golf Services Assistant will

· Provide a warm welcome and proactive interactions with guests.

· Setup and ball collection from the Driving Range.

· Assist with Golf Equipment Rentals.

· Be responsible for Golf Buggy Management.

· Assist with on course marshalling.

· Ensure all golf operational areas and equipment are clean and presentable.

· Assist with other golf operations such as 1st tee starter duties and concierge where required.

Requirements:

Similar previous experience is an advantage. A good knowledge and understanding of golf is essential. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving licence is essential for this role due to the use of onsite buggies and vehicles.
