SalaryJoin our client as a Goods in/ out Stock ControllerTeam Leader in Colnbrook! We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our stock control operations with enthusiasm and precision. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on my clients organisation's supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise the Goods in/ Out Stock control processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Lead a team of Stock Controllers, providing guidance, training, and support
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal levels
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any stock-related issues
Implement strategies to improve stock control procedures and minimise discrepancies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all stock-control activities
Utilise relevant software systems to track and monitor stock movements and optimise warehouse space utilisation
Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast demand and plan stock availability accordingly
Conduct regular stock audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in stock control or warehouse management
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control best practises
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driving licence required.
Forklift- Counter balance licence
