SalaryA brilliant opportunity is available for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a well established Electrical Distribution company in Central Southampton.
This is a temp to perm role to start ASAP. Working hours Mon-Thu 8.00-17.00 and Fri 08.00-16.30, paying £12.00ph.
The main purpose of this role is to work in the busy Goods In department checking all stock that comes in is correct and entered onto the system.
Main Duties:
- Checking stock that comes through Goods In is correct and signed for
- Booking stock
- Warehouse duties: Order picking / packing
- Chasing purchase orders
- Entering data and notes onto computer system
- Speaking with sales team, delivery drivers and accounts to discuss any errors or discrepancies
Skills:
- Administration experience is essential
- Polite telephone manner
- Computer literate
- Working in a similar Goods In role is desirable but not essential
