Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning and a positive can-do attitude? Do you have excellent attention to detail and great organisational skills? Our client is seeking a Goods In/Despatch Operative to join their dynamic team and support their repair and sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive parcels and deliveries, checking the quantity against the delivery note and signing off relevant delivery documents.
- Identify and record serial numbers to keep track of parts in the maintenance cycle.
- Raise and highlight any variances between orders and deliveries.
- Liaise with the Customer Support Team regarding incoming orders.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of internal product documentation.
- Maintain a tidy yard and department.
- Record all stock movements meticulously.
- Coordinate with customers to arrange collection times.
- Arrange and book deliveries and collections.
- Flexibly work different shifts based on customer needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's own workload.
- Adherence to work procedures and practises is essential.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work towards achieving KPIs.
- Must be able to handle heavy lifting.
- A full driving licence is essential.
