The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating proficiency in checking incoming goods for quality, quantity, and proper packaging. This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to manage stock efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Inspecting incoming goods for quality, quantity, and packaging accuracy
- Manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies in received goods
- Oversee the delivery of production line stock, maintaining a seamless workflow
- Utilise forklift equipment responsibly and safely (FLT license preferred)
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with various departments to optimise stock management processes
- Train and supervise team members involved in Goods in/Goods out activities
- Keep accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Goods in/Goods out within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role
- Forklift license is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
