We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in manufacturing solutions for the aerospace market.

 Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Goods Inwards, Stores and Despatch Operative to join their friendly and supportive team in Romford.

As a Goods Inwards, Stores and Despatch Operative, you will be working in a busy stores environment where you will receive and accurately store finished manufactured parts. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, ensuring all parts are stored in the correct locations and processed accurately on the MRP system.

You will be tasked with picking customer orders and coordinating the outbound shipments ensuring they have been packaged and prepared with the correct accompanying documentation ready for the arranged approved courier to collect.

You will ensure the stores area is well maintained and tidy and perform stock checks for availability to ensure all orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner.

Your exceptional communication and organisational skills will enable you to collaborate well with couriers and internal stakeholders to deliver a prompt and professional service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen willingness to learn, no previous experience is required as full training can be provided.

Requirements

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a goods in/despatch or stores environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training can be provided.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude to work.
• Motivation to do a job well with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to build good working relationships with other areas of the business and work well under own initiative.
• Well organised with a methodical approach.
• Previous experience of using an MRP system would be desirable.
• Live within a commutable distance to the offices in Romford.
