Good Stock returns Administrator - Milton Keynes

Hours: 9 - 5.15pm

Our client is a sports orientated company, who have an energetic culture, and excellent team spirit, very high retention and extremely long service throughout the business. They are seeking a like minded person to join their team. The role can be quite physical and does involve manual handling.

Purpose

• To provide their customers with a quick turn around on unwanted orders.
• To ensure goods are returned to our warehouse in a condition ready to resell.
• To reject stock that isn t in re-sellable condition.
• To ensure the stock received is correctly recorded on the system and in the Goodstock location.

Duties will include:

• Receiving and logging in parcels from retailers.
• Auditing the location to make sure the stock values are correct
• Processing GSR from retailers back into stock promptly to agreed timescales.
• To develop improved processes using previous returns data.
• Identifying good stock and rejecting bad stock.
• Working closely with our Warehouse, Suppliers, Brand Team, Customer Care Department and Sales Departments.
• Raising credits and invoices against previous sale.
• Reworking products to be re-sold.
• Sourcing packaging and labels.
• Listing products to be sold as soiled-goods that cannot be returned to the customer.
• Ensuring the department has the necessary stationary, tools and equipment to function efficiently.
• To ensure staff are fully trained on all GSR processes.
• To keep the area tidy and safe.

Skills required

Leadership and analytical skills. Previous experience in a similar role. and good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
