Job description

Are you a skilled administrator with excellent attention to detail? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills? Do you enjoy working with a range of stakeholders in a fast moving environment?

We're now looking for a Governance Administrator to join our team! You'll provide essential administrative support to our Governance Manager, board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team.

Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating essential administrative tasks: preparation, collation and distribution of agendas, meeting information packs, minutes and reports and managing actions following board and committee meetings. You will also provide diary management support to the Board of Trustees. Additionally, you will assist in organising key events such as the Annual General Meeting and trustee elections.

You will support the Governance Manager in maintaining our Companies House and Charity Commission records, as well as overseeing the Board of Trustees internal communications.

In addition to supporting the Governance Manager in delivering on the Association's governance functions, you'll be a valued member of the wider CEO Office Team.

Hybrid Working Expectations: Minimum 1 day per week office attendance, with occasional travel to our London office and events

(Flexibility to attend the office more regularly on occasion may be required to meet business needs.)

What are we looking for?

We need a skilled administrator who can effectively support our Board and CEO team.

As a proactive and confident individual, you'll excel in managing multiple and competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Your strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications, will be essential for this role.

Effective communication is key. You'll be liaising with senior stakeholders and external contacts through email, phone, Microsoft Teams, virtual and face-to-face meetings and events. Strong written communication skills are particularly important as this role will involve minuting meetings.

Flexibility is also crucial, as occasional out-of-office hours and travel to external venues, may be required.
