Governance Officer
Job Type: 37 hours per week. 42 weeks per year (Term time plus 4 weeks)
Location: Sawtry
Salary: £24,434.34 to £27,538 per annum.
Base school, hours per week and weeks per year are flexible and can be agreed with the successful candidate.

The Role
The trust has an exciting opportunity to join the Governance team as a Governance Officer. This role supports the Governance Lead with vital administrative support with a multitude of tasks. From supervision of the Academy Council Clerks (clerks to school governors) to minute taking and trust-wide projects and communications.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for an established Administrator looking for a new challenge.
Knowledge or experience in the governance of schools would be beneficial but someone who shares their values, can bring a wealth of administrative experience, and has a proven ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation is what they're really after!

The ideal candidate
- Experience of note taking and sharing agreed outcomes and actions from meetings
- Proven track record of organisation and communication.
- Knowledge of a range of software packages, especially Office 365
- Ability to communicate effectively with a varied range of stakeholders
- Comfortable working within set frameworks and deadlines
- High personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.
