Job Summary

Amnesty International UK (AIUK) has a simple aim: an end to human rights abuses. About the role

The Nations & Regions Team at Amnesty International UK works with the different political, legal and social context and mechanisms in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to bring about human rights progress, at home and around the world.

The Government & Political Relations Manager – Wales is a new role and will have responsibility for Amnesty’s advocacy at the Senedd Cymru / Welsh Parliament and Welsh Government and related campaigns within Wales. The post-holder will be a spokesperson for Amnesty UK in the media (In English and Welsh languages) and represent the organisation in meetings with key decision-makers in order to achieve positive human rights outcomes in Wales.
