Overview
We’re Enterprise Mobility. A family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands that in the UK includes household names such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car. A Times Top 100 Graduate Employer, we’ve grown from a pioneering idea over 65-years ago, to the global mobility leader we are today. With a $35 billion turnover, nearly 90,000 team members and over 2.3 million vehicles across 95 countries, we’re here to advance the world, one journey at a time. Imagine what we could do for your career?
Enterprise’s placement opportunities give you the chance to get ahead in the job market - but don’t just take our word for it; our interns have been voted Best Intern of the Year twice at the National Undergraduate Employability Awards. It’s learning by doing, not by getting coffee all day. From winning regular diversity awards to being a Top 50 Place for Women to Work for 17 years running, it’s no surprise that we were also voted the Graduate Employer of the Year.
We are very excited to announce an opening for an intern to support our UK Government Affairs and Mobility team.
The Government and Public Affairs team is responsible for leading our work with government across the UK and Ireland, including locally and with devolved governments in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland around the key issues for the business including mobility, decarbonisation, electrification, and skills. The team also leads our engagement with industry associations and coalitions; and advises on a broad range of political developments and the potential impact on Enterprise services. The Government Affairs team also works closely with the European Mobility team across EU markets, the sales teams and operational colleagues in the UK and Ireland Groups.
Reporting to our Head of Government Affairs, the successful applicant will quickly get involved across all aspects of the business and we will provide professional development, training, and support.

The first step is our application form, which takes about 30 minutes to complete. As well as telling us lots about you, it helps us identify the kind of competencies in you that we look for in our placement students.
If your application is successful one of our Recruitment team will be in contact to arrange a competency-based telephone interview.
Finally, you will be invited to attend a face to face interview.
