About the team & the role:
Are you interested in school governance and would like to utilise your knowledge and skills to support and develop effective governance. We are seeking to appoint a Governor Services Officer to this well-established team.
Governor Services is a successful and well-regarded service which provides governing boards with timely support to facilitate governance and leadership, drawing on governance expertise and local knowledge. We offer a high quality guidance, support and training service for governors, with the aim of enhancing leadership and management and raising educational achievement.
About you
- To be successful you will need excellent communication skills to enable you to engage highly effectively with all our stakeholders. We need you to demonstrate organisational skills which allow you to prioritise tasks on a daily basis to ensure that our service levels and quality are maintained.
- You will have an understanding of school governance legislation and education and a willingness to develop your knowledge and understanding.
- You are able to deal with issues and difficult situations in a calm timely manner.
- We are looking for someone with a positive can do attitude who is able to work both independently and effectively as part of our team.
