A GP surgery close to Luton is on the lookout for a Maternity Cover GP to join their team on a Fixed-Term contract.

The surgery is looking for anywhere between 4-8 sessions and can be flexible with this for the correct candidate.

In return, the surgery can offer a sessional rate between £10,000 - £11,500 dependent on experience and skills. The contract is BMA equivalent and has annual leave (plus bank holidays) in line with BMA.

Whilst the surgery is looking for the successful candidate to start in February 2024, they are happy to push this forward if you desire. This is a Maternity Cover contract and is to last 9-12 months dependent on start date.

The surgery has a total triage system, meaning you have control over who you see and when. There is also plenty of time for admin and catch-up, with reflective periods being part of the rota.

The practice itself is a partner led practice and heavily encourages an open-door policy, meaning you will become part of an honest and caring team. The system utilises System One and has parking on-site.

You would be joining a team of 5 salaried GPs, ANP, 4 clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technician, minor illness nurses.
