As a GPU Software Architect will be working on designing and looking into features on 3D Graphics APIs ( Vulkan and DirectX) and how to use these with current and future GPU using your deep technical and problem-solving skills.
You will be working with working closely with software and hardware architects, driver dev teams, and ecosystem teams to identify challenges and future opportunities.
We are seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
- Design new features of 3D Graphics API
- Discover and look into features and improvements to 3D Graphics API
- New API extensions and writing specs
- Testing interface changes and proposals
- Changes to GPU Architecture
- Detailed analysis of changes
- BSc or MSc or PhD in the correct discipline
- 5 or more years in GPU Software Architecture
- Working experience with one of the following: Vulkan, Metal or Direct11 or 12, Open GL ES,
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of rasterization & ray tracing
- Neutral rendering, mesh shading pipeline
- Working on immature tech
- C/C++ Programming
- Team Player
