The Company:

My client, who provide Acoustic Consultancy services across all areas of the built environment, are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Bristol. They are part of a larger consultancy group who strive to deliver sustainable designs. Some of their other groups include Energy, Software, and Testing. As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will be trained to deliver your own skills in all sectors of the company.

Role responsibilities include:

• Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
• Liaising with key professionals.
• Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
• Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.

Ideal candidate will need:

• A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
• A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
• An interest in coding and script writing.
• Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
• Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
• UK driver's license.
