About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering design and technical support for a wide range of civil and structural projects mainly within the High and Medium voltage electricity distribution and storage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake engineering design in accordance with relevant standards and codes of practice, including preparation of drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Prepare tender and construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants, to develop and coordinate design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
• Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections, to gather information for project design and development. 

Requirements:

• A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with a range of design software such as AutoDesk Robot, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Previous experience in Civil/Structural engineering design and construction is preferable .
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices.
• An interest in renewable energy, data centre, utility sector and electricity distribution and storage systems.
• Working towards chartership status with the relevant bodies (ICE/IStruct).
• Eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.
