Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:15 - 15:30

About the Role:

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before embarking on a career in education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisor to join our team at Veritas Education working in secondary schools across Sheffield. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, assisting teachers and providing cover for classes across various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage the classroom environment.
• Support students with their learning and ensure a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Uphold the school's policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Requirements:

• A degree in any subject (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• A strong desire to work in education and support student learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
