Are you a recent graduate with a background in geology, environmental science and/or geotechnical engineering? This is the role for you! These industry leading geotechnical contractors with a large scale project based near Watford are seeking an ambitious and academically rounded individual to join them in a graduate geotechnical role. You'll have the chance to work on a huge variety of Ground Investigation and contaminated land projects with a team of specialist who will help kickstart your career.

This Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position requires:

• Work on a large-scale water monitoring project initially, developing skills and fitting into the team.
• You'll be taking samples, monitoring materials and assisting the wider team where required.
• Following the completion of this project, you'll then delve more closely into the site investigation, geology focussed side of the role. This includes getting involved in training, borehole logging, soil sampling, report writing and supervising drilling rigs.

To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role you should:

• Have a degree in an industry relevant subject (for example geology, environmental science, physical geography or geo-environmental engineering).
• Have a keen interest in outdoor, hands-on work and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold a full and clean UK driving licence (this is essential).
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
• Live a commutable distance to the Watford area.
