These solutions include mobile apps for ordering and web apps for engaging with consumers either through loyalty or reservations. By linking these solutions to Zonal’s EPoS (till) system, we help hospitality brands to understand their customers’ behaviour and preferences, enabling them to excel in an increasingly competitive market.

What you’ll do

In the role of Graduate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) you will assist the Head of FP&A with all activities relating to planning, reporting, forecasting and budgeting, as well as maintain and improve upon existing processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

·         Assisting with the month end reporting process and outputs

·         Managing the daily and weekly cashflow forecast

·         Participating in improving Zonal financial processes and systems

·         Supporting the development of dashboard through using Power BI

·         Supporting the quarterly reforecasting process

·         Supporting the planning and management of the annual budget process

·         Assisting in the production and reporting of segmental profitability analysis

·         Assisting in the review and analysis of performance management metrics (KPIs)

·         Ad hoc tasks to assist the Head of FP&A

·         Ad hoc assistance to Finance Director, Group Financial Controller and wider finance function

Skills and qualifications

•              Recent graduate, in Accounting and Finance degree preferable but not essential.

•              Good verbal and written communication.

•              Want to progress with professional qualifications – ICAS / ACCA / CIMA.

•              Relationship builder, enjoys meeting new people and working with them.

•              Knowledge of a finance system desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

•              Have presence and be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders around the business.

•              An industrial placement/ internship or summer placement (while not essential) would be strongly beneficial.

•              IT savvy, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.

•              A ‘can do’ attitude, confident and self-motivated, willing to learn new processes.

•              Highly accurate and with excellent attention to detail.

•              A highly analytical approach.

•              Ability to work on own remotely and as part of a team both remotely and on site.

•              A problem solver.

•              Organised, enthusiastic and self-starting.

•              Ability to digest large volumes of information and analyse into digestible chunks for stakeholder/management consumption.
