Graduate Geo-environmental Engineer (Bristol)

Salary: £23,000 -- £26,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in ground investigation, contaminated land assessments and waste management. You'll be provided with excellent resources, support, specialist training and varied work to kickstart your career in the Southwest. No experience is required, only degree level education.
If successful in this Gradate Geo-environmental Engineer process you'll be:
- Attending and assisting with site walkovers.
- Carrying out site investigations.
- Soil and rock logging.
- Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
- You'll be trained to write factual and interpretive reports.
- Some in situ testing and overall observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

The successful Graduate Geo-environmental Engineer therefore must have a minimum of a BSc in geology, physical geography, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). You should be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills, show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role and hold a full UK driving licence. Candidates must live in or near to Bristol and have a full right to work in the UK.
