Graduate Interior Designer | Chorley | £22,000 - £27,000
I'm currently working with an award-winning architectural practice that is looking to hire a Graduate Interior Designer to help with the ever-increasing workload due to high demand for this company's services. This role will include working on stand-alone interior design projects and larger architectural schemes, giving you the chance to work alongside other professionals in the architectural industry.
This practice focus on creating spaces with the end-user in mind, with the aim of creating/designing spaces that suit all project scales and budgets. In this role, you'll typically be working on projects within the healthcare sector, giving you the chance to impact a huge number of people through your work.
You will be supported by the companies experienced Interior Designers to produce feasibilities, concept work and outline design schemes for our clients across the UK. The role will involve working on multiple software packages, producing technical layout and detailing as required, as well as compiling mood boards, acquiring samples, design illustrations and precedent research.
In addition to the typical Interior Designer responsibilities, you'll also be assisting with Social Media and creative output across all levels of a project. Experience or skills within Healthcare aren't necessary - plenty of training will be provided to get you settled into the role, and this will continue throughout your career, with many opportunities to develop and expand your skillset!
Skills and Experience: Graduate Interior Designer
* Enthusiastic & creative
* Qualification in Interior Design or similar - Any experience would also be beneficial!
* Hand drawing skills
* Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite & modelling software such as SketchUp.
* Experience working with Revit
* Social media skills/knowledge
* Team working and good communication skills
* Full driving licence and own transport (Must)
