So what will you be doing? Kimberly-Clark is an innovative business looking for a talented, technically gifted IT/ Automation & Control Engineer to join our two-year programme based out of Flint, North Wales.

About you
You should have completed your technical degree in a relevant engineering discipline or IT and would have been awarded at least a 2:1 or a merit.
Previous experience or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SS, Data Manipulation and Plant Application will be an advantage.
You will have great interpersonal skills and be a strong team player.
What You'll Receive
We will look to provide you with real responsibility, cross-functional projects, senior-level visibility, formal technical training, softer skills courses and a real impact on important FMCG products.
Across the placements you will develop skills that range across the following areas:
Apply fundamental engineering concepts to technical problem solving and project work.
Identification and the delivery of improvement projects on site related to quality, yield, energy and equipment effectiveness (improving machine speed, waste and uptime) to enable global benchmarking.
Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) and continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
In addition to specific technical training, you will also complete a Professional Development Training Programme (PDP) that will cover presentation skills, influencing skills, personal effectiveness, and business acumen. There will also be an opportunity to discuss support throughout your Initial Professional Development in the engineering council (IPD) if required.
