Graduate M&E Engineer

As my client continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Engineers to join their team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a recent graduate with a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering to fill the role of Graduate Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to kick start their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on challenging projects, receive mentor ship from experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects.
- Research and Development: Contribute to the research and development of new technologies, processes, and solutions in alignment with company objectives.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions, providing insights to enhance project outcomes.
- Prototyping and Testing: Participate in the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong academic performance and a genuine passion for engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
The Person:
Skills and Education:
- 3 A Level's grade C and above, preferably including maths, technology or electronics.
- 8 GCSE's grade C and above.
- Relevant health and safety training will be given, experience in a comparable environment would be an advantage.
- CSCS/ECS Skills card will be required as soon as feasible.
- Engagement with the professional development process and setting of challenging goals for continuous learning.
- A basic understanding of electrical principles and/or electronics.
- A high level of proficiency in information technology.
- Basic skills in using hand-tools in a workshop or site environment.
