Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer for our client, a R&D company developing ultra-high-performance motors and drives, advanced electric vehicle systems, and innovative, sustainable energy storage solutions. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
 
 
The Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will:

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct simulations and analysis to optimize the performance and reliability of Mechanical Designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting to refine designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 
The Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks 3D.
• Background in the automotive industry.
• Experience with FEA and performing hand calculations.
• Familiarity with electrical systems.
• Confidence in communicating ideas.
• Strong desire to question, understand, and contribute.
• Flexibility, multitasking skills, and willingness to go the extra mile.
