Our client, a worldwide freight forwarding service provider, is seeking a motivated and confident individual to join their team as a Graduate Operations Co-ordinator.
The Job:
As the Graduate Operations Co-ordinator…
- You will receive excellent training to enable you to support the Operations team in coordinating the day to day Sea Freight imports and European road Freight shipments.
- You’ll be given guidance to allow you to become proficient in client liaison both written (email) and verbal (telephone).
- Learn how to negotiate and liaise with external suppliers
- Liaise with the internal sales team, assisting with quotations and service status information.
- Assist in the completion of necessary export and import customs clearance.
- Raise job files and all of the appropriate paperwork.
- Invoice jobs on completion.
- Requirements:
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial outlook with a great sense of customer service
- Commercial acumen
- Negotiating skills to maximise gross profit.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Good IT Skills
