The Client:

Our client is a well-established construction consultancy, offering design and management services across the Built Environment.

The Role:

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be collaborating with the team and supporting senior staff both in the office and during site visits.

Responsibilities:

-Implementing document management following QA procedures.
-Preparing cost advice in line with RICS guidance notes, covering various aspects such as order of cost estimates, viability reports, formal cost plans, cash-flow forecasts, and life cycle costs.
-Creating post-contract cost reports and final accounts.
-Developing and administering tender documentation and processes.
-Drafting contracts and managing post-contract cost aspects, including change control processes, valuing variations, and assessing contractor claims.
-Generating valuations for progress payments.
-Engaging in training to work towards achieving chartered status.

Requirements:

-Qualified or ongoing studies towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
-Understanding of commercial aspects in construction.
-Possess good Quantity Surveying base skills.
-Valid UK driving licence.
